Since March 1, Chaos Group has a cloud rendering service introduced for V-Ray.
After 5 years of development, 6 months of beta testing in which 6 million frames and 500000 jobs were processed, all V-Ray users can now use Chaos Cloud.
Unlimited computing power thanks to cloud computing that is what Chaos Cloud is.
After purchasing cloud credits, you can send a render order from V-Ray to the Chaos Group render farm with one push of a button. The new service is suitable for V-Ray for 3ds Max, Maya, Rhino, Cinema 4D, Revit and Modo. Houdini is still in beta and SketchUp via Next and 3.6 edition.
Chaos Cloud contains
Smart Sync automatically uploads the necessary data to the server.
With Remote Control you can adjust settings and restart the render process.
Live View shows the progress of the rendering, even via your smartphone.
Smart Vault is your online vault where all assets are stored.
Chaos Cloud Price
The Chaos Cloud price starts at 91 euros ex VAT for which you get 100 credits. Roughly a division has been made into 3 packages.
- Starter package (100 to 500 cloud credits)
- Studio package (1000 to 5000 cloud credits)
- Production package (10000 to 50000 cloud credits)
