Just before NAB, Solid Angle announced Arnold 5.1. In the 5.1 version of Arnold, the biggest innovation is that it has GPU rendering with no difference in quality compared to CPU rendering.

Codex

UK digital recording, media and workflow company Codex announced ColorSynth and the controller Codex Keys for Apple's Final Cut Pro X earlier this year. At NAB 2018, Codex will have a demo suite and will be on the booth of Canon and Panasonic to demonstrate how ColorSynth works together with the controller Codex Keys in Final Cut Pro X. The Codex ColorSynth is an affordable high-end color grading module suitable for Indie market with a price between 250 and 300 euros and the Codex Keys for a price between 1200 and 1500 euros. Autodesk Flame 2019
Autodesk has also given a cosmetic update to compositing and effects powerhouse software Flame 2019. The days prior to NAB, some things became clear through various channels.
