The TA-SFH5-E6-G focus side handle for Type II Tiltaing cages (including the Z-Cam E2 series) and is connected via an Arri rosette. The side handle therefore also fits other cages or rigs with an Arri rosette. The side handle contains a compartment for an LP-E6 battery.

Tiltaing TA-SFH5-E6-G Side Focus Handle

The TA-SFH5-E6-G Side Focus Handle Type II offers space for a Canon LP-E6 battery and has a thumb wheel for control of a Nucleus-N. The control is not wireless but via a micro USB cable which is supplied as standard with the Nucleus. This cable also provides power to the Nucleus-N motor from the LP-E6 battery.

If the Nucleus-N is connected to the handle, the wireless function of the Handwheel is canceled.

This Focus Side Handle is suitable for all Tiltaing cages of the type II. The type number says something about the way the Focus Side Handle is connected to the cage. There are three types.

There are three types. On the Tilta page you can see which cages are suitable for which camera and which type of coupling it is provided with.

The Focus Side Handle also has a 12 volt output for any accessories. A cable is not included for this.

The type II Side Focus Handles and Side Handles are the only ones with a standardized Arri rosette coupling. This means that they are suitable for connections with other brands of cages, rigs and dog bones with an Arri Rosette.

    I use this in combination with the Nucleus Nano from Tilta to focus on the DJI Ronin-s or when I film out of hand.
    I already had it the next day and it works very accurately!
