Tilta Camera Cage for Freefly Ember S5K Basic Kit – Black
The main accessory of the Tilta Camera Cage for Freefly Ember S5K Basic Kit is the Full Camera Cage. It provides great protection and expands the capabilities of your camera, thanks to its aluminum frame.
Multiple mounting points include ARRI Rossettes, NATO Rails on both sides, and 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads. Both include locating points.
The Ember's unique design is complemented by the cage thanks to a unique backplate. This Backplate connects to the back of the camera body through two M3 screws. It can swivel 90˚ to free up access to the back of the camera when required.
The Backplate of the camera cage comes with a 15mm gap when connected to the camera to allow heat from the camera to dissipate easily.
The backplate allows for accessories like the Tilta Pocket V-Mount Battery Plate V2 can be mounted in our frames. This is great for adding V-Mount batteries to your Camera Cage for Freefly Ember S5K.
Lens Adapter Support for both PL and EF mounts are included. These are connected directly onto the cage body without the need of using additional baseplates or accessories.
Additional accessories included in the Basic Kit
Included in the Kit is the Xeno Top Handle. It mounts via a NATO Rial and allows for improved handling and operating. This is thanks to its new design with increased clearance.
Along the handle, a large variety of accessory mounting points are included. These include 1/4″-20 threads and a Cold Shoe Receiver. This is perfect for mounting an external monitor.
An included Manfrotto Release Plate is compatible with specific Manfrotto Tripod Heads. This allows you to connect the cage to the included 15mm LWS Baseplate Type IV.
The LWS Baseplate adds dual 15mm rod support. This allows you to mount rod based accessories like follow focus and matte boxes.
The bottom of the baseplate can natively connect to Tilta Standard Dovetails, as well as support a variety of quick release plates through 1/4″-20 and 3/8″-16 threads.
