Samyang 21mm T1.5 cine ED AS UMC CS MFT is a high quality, bright fixed focal length wide-angle lens for cameras with a Full-Frame or APS-C format sensor. It is ideal for full-frame cameras, which want to perfectly film reports, landscapes or architecture with a high quality wide angle, even in low light. The sharpness is excellent, even with wide apertures. The size and very bright T1.5 aperture also allows you to film with a very shallow depth of field.
The Samyang 24 mm T1.5 ED AS UMC is a manually focusable lens. The manual focus ring is wide and runs smoothly so that it can be used in most cine and photographic applications. For accurate focusing at a very close distance or in critical situations, we recommend using the live view mode. Furthermore, the Samyang 24 mm T1.5 offers a beautiful bokeh, due to the use of a 7-bladed aperture. The advanced optical construction of the Samyang 24mm includes 4 low dispersion glass (ED) parts, 2 of which are aspherical. The Samyang Ultra Multi Coated (UMC) ensures the best light transmission and reduction of ghosting and flare.
Samyang's Unique Cine Capabilities
The Samyang Cine series of lenses allows more precise video work through T marks. Because the lens is equipped with a serrated focus ring, it can be used with a follow focus system as standard. You can change the aperture quietly and smoothly with the decoupled stepless aperture ring. Also, the distance scale and T numbers are on both sides of the lens for added convenience when filming. Finally, all Samyang Cine lenses are of the same length and color temperature, so that they can be changed without any problems during filming.
