Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2

The Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 is an excellent choice if you have little space for a full-size video camera.

The Studio Camera has an MFT lens mount and a very light-sensitive 4K image sensor with rich colors. This makes it a small camera with the capabilities of a full-fledged video camera, all in a small housing that can be mounted almost anywhere. It has a body made of robust magnesium, which is not much larger than the lens mount.

SDI and HDMI

Users get 12G-SDI for HD and Ultra HD operations up to 2160p60. You can control the built-in color corrector and lens via SDI and HDMI connections. In addition, it can record Blackmagic RAW to USB drives. The buttons on the front of the camera provide easy access to the settings menu and starting recording.

The included log gamma allows users to create cinematic color-corrected looks, all within the camera.

MFT lenses

High-quality MFT lenses or adapters can be added to work with broadcast lenses.

You get the same imaging technology used in digital film cameras thanks to the amazing 4k sensor with Blackmagic Generation 5 color science. Color correction can even be controlled with a switcher.

13 stops of dynamic range allows the camera to have darker blacks and brighter whites, making it perfect for color selection. A resolution of 4096 x 2160 makes the sensor ideal for both HD and Ultra HD work.

The camera supports frame rates from 23,98 fps to 60 fps.

Nutrition

The Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera has many different power options. Included is a 12V DC locking power socket. This prevents the cable from being accidentally pulled out. In addition, the camera supports standard LP-E6 compatible batteries, which can be very useful for emergency power or local power backup for live events.

An adapter can be used to power the camera with a V-Mount battery.

Live registration and streaming

In addition, the camera is ideal for use with the ATEM switchers for live recordings and, if desired, real-time streaming. Consider, for example, amateur competitions, church services and theater.
