Description

The Atomos Ninja Inferno has been specially developed for users of the new Panasonic GH5. This recorder can record up to 4K at 60 frames per second via an HDMI 2.0 connection to the GH5. Like the GH5, the Ninja Inferno records in 10-bit 4:2:2. The big advantage is that the Ninja Inferno saves the video in Apple ProRes or Avid DNxHR so that the files can be edited directly on a Mac or PC without conversion.

If the V-Log upgrade is used on the GH5, the Atomos Ninja Inferno can convert the flat log image from the GH5 directly to an HDR image on the Ninja Inferno. Thanks to the extremely bright image of 1500 nits, the Ninja Inferno can display 10-bit HDR images.

Two XLR microphones, with or without 48 volt phantom power, can be connected using an optional breakout cable. A separate audio recorder is therefore no longer necessary.
