With a larger 6144 x 3456 Super 35 sensor and EF lens mount, the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K lets you G2 Using EF lenses to create cinematic images with a shallower depth of field. It also has a tilting LCD screen, EVF mount, mini XLR audio inputs and an NP-F570 battery.
In order to be able to use the larger sensor size, Blackmagic Design has chosen to design the camera with a Canon EF lens mount. This significantly increases the number of available and qualitative lenses. Two extremely suitable and light-sensitive lenses are, for example, the Sigma 18-35 F1.8 and the Sigma 50-100 F1.8.
The BMPCC6KG2 has many features of its cheaper brother in the 4K version. The ISO up to 26.600, 13 stops of dynamic range, 3D luts, 5 inch touch screen display and also uses the Blackmagic RAW file format (BRAW).
Images can be stored on SD-UHS2 and Cfast cards and also on an external USB-C SSD drive.
The BMPCC6KG2 has connections for HDMI, mini XLR with 48 volt phantom power for external professional microphones, 3.5mm mini jack for standard microphones and a 3,5mm mini jack for headphones.
The camera comes standard with a Studio version of Davinci Resolve.
