DZOFilm Vespid Prime FF 25mm T2.1 PL/EF mount

The DZOFilm Vespid Prime FF 25mm T2.1 PL/EF mount is a lightweight and small lens. It is suitable for high-end full-frame and independent filmmaking. Suited with an 80mm diameter, the lens is easy to use with a cinema-stye matte box.

The lens is small enough to fit on gimbals or drones. It supports a Canon EF mount and optional lens adapters to allow you to use different camera mounts. You can make footage without any vignetting because the full-frame lens coverage supports sensors with an image circle up to 46.5mm.

This 25mm lens contains a 16-blade iris, which comes from the VESPID prime lens lineup and is good for creating an out-of-focus highlight. This highlight has a more natural look. The ring has 64 degrees of rotation.The lens is compatible with cine-gear rings and cine-style lens accessories.

When mounted on a camera with a Super35 sensor, the DZOFilm 25mm lens provides you with a tighter shot then if it would be mounted on a camera with a full sensor. A metal construction allows the lens to withstand rigorous daily production. A common 70mm front diameter gives you the opportunity to change your lens quickly. Swapping Antireflection donuts or adapters to use the same matte box is not necessary. You can film objects very closely thanks to the minimum focus distance of 12”.
