DJI Transmitter
The DJI Transmitter evolved from DJI aerial video transmission technology. The Transmitter provides extended-range, low-latency transmissions. This makes it very suitable to be used with production monitors. Additionally metadata transmissions via SDI are included, in addition to the output of fractional frame rates.
This DJI Transmitter utilizes O3 Pro video transmission technology, offering an incredible on-ground transmission distance of 6km. 1080p/60fps with a max bitrate of 40Mbps is supported, as well as live audio monitoring at 16-bit 48 kH. This allows crews on large sets to have excellent remote visual and audio monitoring experience.
The transmitter and receiver utilise the same chip as the Ronin 4D, with every link optimised for providing end-to-end ultra-low transmission latency when pairing cameras like the ALEXA Mini LF.
O3 Pro adds DFS bands, alongside the traditional 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz frequency bands, offer up to 23 channel options. This provides crews with more complaint transmission channels with less interference. Aditonally, the DJI Transmitters supports triple-band automatic frequency hopping. This automatically scans the electromagnetic environment for the best wireless channel.
