ATTO FastFrame CS12 CNA combines ATTO’s renowned Fibre Channel stack — one of only 5 in the industry, with Intel Ethernet technology. FastFrame CS12 Dual-port SFP+ Ethernet Adapter conserves PCI slots for more flexible system design, while drawing up to 60% less power than competing solutions. A lower power rating means lower energy costs, lower data center maintenance fees, and fewer worries about heat dissipation. This high performance adapter includes high-quality pluggable optical SFP+ tranceivers – a hidden cost with some competitor cards – and support for direct attach copper cables.

ATTO CS12 CNAs are the first to support FCoE FC-BB-6 with VN2VN. These features, together with ATTO’s Target Mode, allow OEMs to provide differentiated, affordable FCoE solutions that do not require expensive Fibre Channel Forwarding switches, to their customers. End customers benefit from FastFrame’s wide array of supported protocols, ranging from backward compatibility with GigE, to 10Gb network file access, through iSCSI enhanced by Lossless Ethernet/DCB, to fully-switched FCoE.
