The Vaxis VFX 4×5.65”1MM Rainbow V-Streak Filter has been designed to be used perpendicularly to a point light source like the sun, a candle, or an incandescent bulb. Within the filter glass is a combination of fine line types whose action is limited to point light sources. Following those light sources, these lines create the effect of a scene or image that has been captured with an anamorphic lens and then displayed with a complementary reverse projection lens. This can result in elongated, prominent streaks that are symmetrical and extend horizontally from each point light source, which draws attention to a specific part of the frame or creating a visually dramatic effect.
