New AI features in Media Composer

Avid’s latest update introduces AI powered tools, Phrase AI and ScriptSync AI. These tools are great time savers, and do not require an internet connection to be used.

ScriptSync AI allows you to search for clips by typing out a phrase or word out, saving you hours of footage scouring. By using this not only do you save time, but conserve energy to focus on your creative vision.

ScriptSync AI indexes all text and audible dialogue within your project automatically. It will then sync each source clip to its associated line within the script. once the dialogue has been synchronised, relevant clips can be easily found based on a simple phrase or word search. 

Improvements to the editing UI

Additionally, Media Composer 2023.8 improves one’s editing experience. One of the many ways this is done is by adding a new workspace option which shortens the ramp-up time for transitioning from older versions of the program. These workspace options include Media Composer, Media Composer Classic, and Transitioning from Adobe Premier Pro.
