This is a totally new design and concept of the wireless lens control system Nano, which was a big hit on the NAB Show in Las Vegas.

All-in-one control: Camera, Gimbal and Motor

The next generation Tilta Nucleus Nano II is a must-have for filmmakers as it combines camera control, gimbal control and motor control in one all-in-one operating system.

In addition, thanks to the multi-channel communication, users can control up to 4 engines. This facilitates the adjustment of various settings, such as focus, iris, zoom meeting and other axes, such as a variable ND filter - while the original Nano could only operate one lens ring.

Tilta Lightweight Dual Handle Gimbal Support System

Tilta introduces the Leight-weight Dual Handle Gimbal Support System (GSS-T04-DHB2). The support system consists of a waist vest, shoulder support and double handle. The system eases the use of gimbals such as the DJI RS2, RSC, RS3 and RS3 Pro.

Work longer with a gimbal by shifting the weight from the arms to the waist.

The vest of the Dual Handle Gimbal Support System supports the use of the gimbals through a battery grip. An adapter for the Ronin battery grip and the extended tripod arm is also available.

The Adapter fits on NATO rail headset which is adjustable in height. The adjustable height and the ball head offer optimal freedom of movement.

Attach the double handle brackets of the support system to the gimbal and the shoulder and support straps to the handles for optimal control and freedom of movement. Includes hands-free if needed.

The brackets of the handles contain many attachment points to attach accessories. The brackets themselves can be easily adjusted in multiple positions.

The maximum payload depends on the chosen gimbal. It is 4,5kg for the RS2 and RS3 Pro and 3Kg for the RSC and RS3.

Tilta Hydra Arm Mini

Tilta Hydra-Arm Mini

The Hydra-Arm Mini is a car-mounted camera arm intended for smaller cameras and fits almost any car. The Hydra Mini Arm is used in conjunction with the DJI RS2, RS 3 Pro, Ronin 4D, Ronin MX, and the Freefly MOVI Pro Stabilizers.

This gives the Hydra Arm Mini three levels of stabilization: the stabilization in the base of the Hydra Arm Mini (without counterweights), a shock absorbing arm at the end of the arm and the DJI gimbal itself.

The arm can reach heights of 3 to 3,5 meters depending on the car. The arm can rotate horizontally 360° with a maximum speed of 60° per second. Vertically, 80° is the maximum and speed is maximum of 45° per second.

Not much more information is available at the moment. The Bill of Materials (BOM) and the price are not yet known exactly. A price of around 12.000 euros excluding VAT is expected.

FIRST TILTA HYDRA ALIEN DELIVERED

The first Tilta Hydra Alien Car mount system for the DJI RS 2 has been delivered to Storm Visual Solutions. Storm tested it and put it on the rack. Conclusion according to leader Rene van Manen: “This is a very good product and was extremely well received”. In two weeks we will be using the Hydra in the first production.

The Tilta Hydra Alien Car Mounting System is part of the Tilta DJI Ecosystem. This is a collection of products and accessories specially designed, in collaboration with DJI, for the DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 gimbals. The Tilta Ecosystem products increase the applicability of the DJI Gimbals. Combining the DJI RS 2 with the Tilta Float creates a Steadycam-like stabilizer. In combination with the Hydra Alien Car Mounting system, a complete stabilized car rig is created for making recordings from moving cars.

TILTA ECOSYSTEM WITH DJI

The Tilta Ecosystem is a collection of products and accessories that have been specially designed for the DJI RS 2 and RSC 2 gimbals in collaboration with DJI. The Tilta Ecosystem products increased the user-friendliness and applicability of the DJI Gimbals. TILTA CAGE FOR SONY A7S III

The Tilta cage for Sony a7s III is available. The Sony A7S III camera is specially made for videographers who want excellent performance at littlecage for Soy a7S III kit-G require light. The a7s III builds on the Sony a7s II.

Tilta jumps in on the success of the Sony by coming up with a very flexible and modular cage for the Sony a7s III. The cages are part of the successful Tiltaing program of cages and accessories especially intended for DSLR and system cameras.

Together with the many accessories from the Tiltaing program, the number of combinations is virtually unlimited. Which combination is the right one depends on the use. During a video presentation Blackmagic CEO Grant Petty has shown a number of upgrades to existing products.

Blackmagic Raw for Pocket Cinema Camera 4K was the news that many users have been waiting for. In the video, Petty said that Blackmagic Design have been charged with a possible infringement of a patent in the CinemaDNG file format. With that knowledge, it is logical that Blackmagic has chosen to make the Pocket Cinema Camera 4.6K suitable for Blackmagic Raw after the URSA Mini Pro 4K. The claim may also explain the long waiting time for the Pocket Cinema Camera 4K camera?

BRAW uses the Blackmagic Design Generation 4 Color Science for vibrant colors. In addition, the codec is CPU and GPU friendly, which means that the power consumption will decrease and the camera can shoot for longer. That is not a superfluous luxury.

Furthermore, the new firmware for the BMPCC4K camera has improved audio recording and playback, the power consumption of the camera has been tweaked and you can zoom in on an object to focus by clicking twice on the screen.

In addition to the news about the BMPCC4K camera, a renewed version of the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K also hit the counter. With URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 you can now record up to 300 frames per second in the Blackmagic Raw codec, but 120 fps in full frame 4.6K is also not wrong.

Thanks to the USB-C port, the URSA Mini Pro 4.6K G2 can record directly to an SSD or flash disk, which reduces enormous copy times between recording and editing to a minimum. If you have a workstation with USB-C, you can mount directly from the SSD.

The renewed neutral density (ND), Blackmagic Design Generation 4 Color Science and Blackmagic RAW give every DOP and cameraman accurate colors and manageable data.
